Knox County Media Specialists foster an environment that enables users to appreciate reading and to access and evaluate information by providing resources and experiences which contribute to lifelong learning.
Library Announcements Book Fair Comes to Copper RidgeBook Fair comes to Copper Ridge starting on 1/20/12 - 1/27/12. Hours are from 8:30 - 2:45. Parent Night will be on Tuesday, 1/24/12 from 5:30 - 7:30. There will be a drawing that night for $25.00 in books for one lucky child and $25.00 in books for that child's classroom. Each child must fill out a coupon for the drawing during Parent Night on Tuesday. Drawing will be during morning announcements on Wednesday.

Online Program Comes to Copper RidgeWe have a new A.R. online program this year at Copper Ridge. Mr. Stooksbury and Mrs. Stapf will be telling you more about it at the beginning of school and at our A.R. Kickoff on September 2nd.
A.R. After SchoolStudents who have begun A.R. may come into the library with a parent to
read and take A.R. tests from 2:45 - 3:30 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you have questions, please call Mr. Stooksbury or Mrs. Stapf at 938-7002. A.R. Kickoff The A. R. (Accelerated Reader) Kickoff is fast approaching.
